Our collaborations

UMR EcoSys maintains numerous and multiform partnerships:

  • Structural collaborations within the C-BASC interdisciplinary object of the Ile-de-France FIRE Federation;
  • Collaboration on research projects: ANR, Horizon Europe, Eclaire, EJP Soil European projects, etc.
  • Collaboration through EcoSys' coordination of medium- and long-term observation systems and infrastructures such as SOERE-PRO (national observation network on the return of organic waste products to the soil), and ICOS (European network for measuring greenhouse gas fluxes).
  • Various national and international collaborations, with numerous research organizations, grandes écoles and universities, as well as non-academic partners such as technical institutes, associations, companies, chambers of agriculture, etc.

National collaborations, a few examples:

  • At local level: within the Université Paris-Saclay, with various INRAE-AgroParisTech laboratories on the Palaiseau campus (Agronomy, SAD-APT, MIA, BIOGER, PSAE... ), with IDEEV (Gif-sur-Yvette); strong collaborations also exist with the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE, CEA Saclay); collaborations also exist with the CLAND Convergence Institute, the UMR GEOPS, the Synchrotron Soleil... Local collaborations also exist with Terres Inovia, Arvalis, the regional chamber of agriculture, as well as associations (Terre & Cité, APPVPA) for various studies on the Saclay plateau or the Versailles plain.
  • Within INRAE, with other units of the AgroEcoSystem Department Dep : Info&Sols Orléans, IEES Paris, LISAH Montpellier, LBE Narbonne, ISPA Bordeaux, AGIR Toulouse, AgroEcologie Dijon, LSE Nancy, ...
  • Throughout France, with numerous research organizations: CNRS, IRD, CIRAD, INSERM, MNHN, etc.; grandes écoles (Institut Agro Rennes and Montpellier, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris, Ecole Polytechnique, AgroSup Dijon, etc.) and various universities (Sorbonne Université, Université Paris Est Créteil, Universities of Montpellier, Toulouse, Dijon, Lyon, Bordeaux, Lille, etc.).
  • Solid partnerships with companies such as Veolia, GRDF and Suez have been forged around themes related to the bioeconomy and biomass recycling (Carnot 3BCAR) or, more recently, urban agriculture (Lab Recherche Environnement Vinci-Paristech). They rely in part on structures such as EnVisaGES, which offers services based on some of UMR ECOSYS's know-how.
