IT service

The main role of the local IT team is to install, administer and manage the IT resources needed to run the UMR: messaging, hardware and software, and to assist users in implementing and operating their IT environment.

To this end, the team is particularly responsible for :

Initial installation and updating of equipment (hardware, components, infrastructure software)
Operation and availability of IT and/or telephone equipment (hardware - software)
checking and configuring workstations, servers or local networks
Ensuring the proper operation of applications and monitoring requests for upgrades
Advising users on security issues (resolving or reporting incidents via Ariane tickets, optimizing performance, deploying backup and automation solutions)
Managing the state of the installed base (hardware, software, licenses), taking stock of it and anticipating its renewal.
It works in coordination with the other IP/PRIs in the AgroEcology building (UMR Agronomie, BIOGER and SAD-APT).
